Steal Celeb Street Style – Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba is our street style icon this week. She was spotted out in LA wearing some gorgeous knitwear. She looks so cosy and I love the use of a neutral brown palette.

Jessica Alba

We start with some lovely chocolate leggings, these are £12 from Dorothy Perkins, and add a black long-sleeve top from Oasis, this one is £16.  Layer on a chunky chocolate cardigan - this one is £36 from American Apparel and looks super cosy. These lovely brown boots are from Schuh and are reduced to £79.95 and look really solid and long-wearing. This lovely canvas tote is £28.35 from YesStyle and the black bag is from French Connection at ASOS for £30. Top off this look with these super-stylish Topshop sunglasses and your winter look is complete!

Remember, if you've seen a celeb's style and want to copy it, send me an email with a picture to lauren@laurenlovesblog.com and I'll do my best to help you recreate their street style!

  2. I love her cardigan, it looks so warm!

  3. You stole this from lispy. they did just this on their mailing list.

  4. Hi Anna,

Thanks for your comment. I actually don't get the Lipsy news letter and I'm not on the mailing list so I haven't "stolen" this from them.

I actually was inspired to create these "get their looks" posts by an old feature that Heat magazine used to run where they'd teach you how to dress like a celeb and I get all my pictures for this weekly feature from Handbag.com's week in style round up here http://www.handbag.com/fashion/celebrity/style/

Let me know if you have any other questions xxx

  5. There is no mention of Jessica Alba on the Lipsy newsletter.
Lauren also posted this (13.01.11) before the newsletter was sent out (18.01.11). It could be argued that Lipsy stole Lauren's idea. I suggest she sues them - But that would be stupid as this is a universal technique used by fashionista's to demonstrate their ideas and admiration for celebrity style. It's not been patented, so Lauren can continue to do this indefinitely.
