Video Tutorial & Giveaway: Hollywood Starlet Hair

I've been crazy about heated rollers recently for styling my hair. They are so easy for daily styling (as shown in this video) and give a soft, smooth but voluminous Hollywood look. I was using velcro rollers to style my hair but I discovered that my fine hair was snapping and now I have lots of little fly-aways everywhere which is very upsetting. However, as long as you use heat protection spray this should be safe for damaged hair.

As the video shows, it only takes an extra 5-10 minutes to add rollers into your hair styling routine but leaves your hair super-smooth and with flicky waves. In the video I use the ghd air hairdryer (my review here). The rollers I use in the video are the Andrew Barton I Love Volume rollers which are currently £22.99 from Argos

  1. Hi Lauren, are you using heat protectant? You always have to use it before straightening or blow drying to keep your hair safe. Although not using heat so often is important too. There’s this heat protectant called pro naturals that’s made from argan oil so it’ll work wonders on your hair and make it really soft and frizz free. It’s not oily or greasy, don’t worry about that.

  2. I like your hair role. I am afraid to do this because heat damages the hairs very badly. Lauren, does heat protection spray really work ?
