Easy Overnight Big Hair! Sleep-In Rollers video and John Frieda review

This month I have been introduced to 2 new big hair products and I love them! With my most popular post being about how to get big hair, I thought you guys would want a full review of the John Frieda Luxurious Volume range and the Sleep-In Rollers I have been trying so I created a video

In this video I show you how I use the Sleep-In rollers, how to put them in and how to apply products for the best, long-lasting big hair

The John Frieda Luxurious Volume products are really great even if you don't use rollers - here's the look I created with curling tongs a couple of weeks ago. I love the root boost spray and it has definitely become part of my daily big hair routine. I section off my hair from my neck to my crown, spraying it into the roots and brushing it all through before drying my hair upside-down. (for a guide to drying hair to make it big, see my how to get big hair post)

Hope you enjoy the video review! Let me know!

This dress is very much my style! It's now £17

I love this gorgeous Tokyo Doll dress which is now £12!

Finally this crop top is down to £6 and would look so great with a high waist skirt for a night out.

I need to hit that sale in the shops soon!

Barcelona: My holiday post!

I'm back from Barcelona. I've been a bit AWOL recently because big things have been happening! Firstly I got on a doctorate programme of my dreams; then I had a car crash, and then I went to Barcelona! I thought I'd share some of my holiday and the results of my Barcelona Body challenge with you!

We spent so much time on the beach - I got that French Connection bikini out in the end and loved it (see this post for my holiday clothes list)

Jumping the waves

Posing on the beach to make people back home jealous.

We also did touristy things, we walked miles from our hotel into town along the beach and back streets every day which was brilliant. We went to Las Ramblas, La Sagrada Familia, the gothic end of town, the zoo!

La Sagrada Familia

And obviously we ate and drank a lot! I am now a huge fan of a good sangria, and I tried enough to know which ones are good!

We also tried a proper paella with mussels, clams, enormous prawns/mini lobsters, WHOLE baby octopus, and squid. Being quite squeamish about seafood, I felt really proud of myself for eating all of it (and the sangria helped)

For anyone considering going to Barcelona, I totally recommend it. We had the most brilliant (and quite romantic) time and could have stayed much longer than 5 days. Now I'm back I'm feeling the post holiday depression badly, but now the countdown to my birthday and next holiday to Bruges is on for July!
